Service Description

During this 2 hour tour you will learn about our cob structures and how they were created, and hike with owner/builder Cat Taylor through the wooded path to the 350-year-old Indian Trail Marker tree—one of only 3 remaining in Texas—while learning about the history of this sacred land. You can also meet our rescue horses. Important information: The terrain is uneven so appropriate footwear is recommended. You may also wish to be advised that the only restroom facilities available on site are composting toilet outhouses. Children 5 and under are free, but children of all ages must stay beside their guardians while on the property. Pets must stay in the owners' well-ventilated vehicle while on the tour or kenneled beside the vehicle with access to water, and all animal waste is the responsibility of the pet owner. If you sign up for a workshop after your tour any fees paid will be deducted from your workshop fees.

Cancellation Policy

We will not hold a spot in a workshop without a deposit. Full payment must be made forty-five days prior to start date. If the workshop is cancelled by NaturalBuildingOrg a full refund of all monies paid will be returned. For Deposit-only the deposit is non-refundable, however, it may be credited toward a future course provided you enroll within one year. Paid-in-full registrations cancelled 45 days or more before the start of the workshop, the total payment minus deposit and processing fees will be refunded, the full cost may be credited to a future workshop for which you enroll within one year. Paid-in-full registrations cancelled 30 days before the start of the workshop, only half of the total payment will be refunded, and the other half will be credited to a future workshop for which you enroll within one year. Paid-in-full registrations canceled less than 30 days from the workshop start date forfeit all payments. If, however, you can find someone willing to pay you directly in order to take your place in the workshop, we can work with them to change the registration into their name with your approval. Please be in communication right away if you have to cancel. Because workshops are awfully expensive to facilitate, and people need a lot of time to plan vacation time and travel, when we get a last-minute cancellation, we often cannot fill that spot causing a loss in funds as we have already purchased supplies and food for your stay. We want everyone to have a chance to learn natural building and will work with you the best we can to make that happen. Please keep us informed so we can give everyone a positive experience. Thank you.
