About the Event
Here is your chance to be a part of a unique and informative fun 6 day workshop!
While camping on our gorgeous 50 acres of lush wooded property, you will learn all about using natural building recipes and techniques to build your own cob cottage. We will cover all the aspects, from the rubble trench foundation to the roof system.
We will be using different methods of building such as cob, straw bale and light clay straw. We will also be building a cob bench and learning natural plasters and doing some fun sculpting projects! You will also get the rare opportunity to tour and participate in some interior finishing work on our 200 square foot bale/cob home that will be featured on the Discovery channel this coming October! We have camping sights, showers, restrooms, and three meals a day provided.
